The company controls issued patents licensed from Los Alamos National Laboratory and other intellectual property developed by the Company. As of September 30, 2000 there were 9,231,746 common shares outstanding, 500,000 preferred shares converting to 1,950,000 of common owned by FEI Company, and 1,849,000 options outstanding primarily to employees and directors.
