Norsam employs its HD-ROSETTA archival preservation technology to make security and tracking tags, both on a micro and macro level, for tracking such things as diverse as DNA to terrorist activities. The material for the tags can be silicon or a chosen metal such as nickel, gold, stainless steel or polymers. Norsam's security and tracking tags can be provided in a data matrix (digital) or analog format.

We can use a FIB, or laser to put security and identification taggs directly on a part. These can be big enough to see with a naked eye, or microscopically small, so that no one knows the whereabouts of the mark but you. There are many uses of this technology including Homeland Security applications.
